The Family Of God Bible seeks to present God’s Word with clarity and accuracy, correcting translation discrepancies, textual variants, and later additions to reflect the original Hebrew and Greek texts. This translation strives to honor the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, by offering a scripture faithful to early manuscripts and accessible to modern readers. While no translation is perfect, thousands of refinements have been made to ensure fidelity to God’s truth. For my personal journey behind this project, see the Introduction.
This Bible is distinguished by several features. First, the Hebrew term [alhym] is rendered as “Gods” as in Genesis 1:1: “In the beginning the Gods [alhym] created the heavens and the earth,” reflecting its grammatical form and the belief in a divine family of the Father and Son. Second, Hebrew transliterations of [yhvh] (“Lord”) and [alhy] (“God”) are included, preserving their frequent occurrences in the Old Testament, in keeping with Exodus 20:7 and Joel 2:32. Third, verses identified as later additions, primarily in the New Testament, are removed based on early manuscripts like the Codex Sinaiticus and Nestle-Aland 26th Edition. The Old Testament, based on the Masoretic Text, required minimal changes.
The translation draws on trusted sources: the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia and Masoretic Text for the Old Testament, and the Codex Sinaiticus and Nestle-Aland 26th Edition for the New Testament, supplemented by Hebrew and Greek concordances and lexicons. Modern tools, including artificial intelligence, aided research and refinement. Guided by Deuteronomy 4:2 and Revelation 22:18–19, every effort was made to preserve scripture’s integrity.
This work reflects the belief in a divine family—the Father and Jesus Christ—expanding through salvation. My thanks go to my wife, ministers, and supporters, and above all to the Father and Son for their guidance. Feedback is welcome at jacquesgauvin.com. May the Family Of God Bible deepen your understanding of God’s Word and His plan.
