Where Is The Kingdom Of God?

We know, if our faith is strong, that God is Love, God is Life, God is Spirit and that He lives in a Spirit realm. We on the other hand are flesh and blood which is evident if we hurt ourselves and bleed and we live on earth. Jesus has made God accessible to us through His sacrifice but how is this accessibility manifested or realized? Do we go to the Spirit realm or does the spirit realm come to us? Or is it some sort of combination of these? Is this transition from inaccessible to accessible spontaneous or gradual? How does it come about?

What does the Bible teach on this subject? What are the answers to these questions? Is all the confusion clarified?

The Kingdom of God grows within us.

Let us see what God teaches through the scriptures. First let^s look at Luke 17:20 and 21. Luke 17:20 and 21.

Now when He (Jesus) was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, See here! or See there! For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you. Luke 17 :20 and 21 (NKJV)

So there you have it, the kingdom of God is within you. In other words Jesus was saying that your thoughts and beliefs, your development of ideas and character, your communication and relationship with God are what constitutes the Kingdom. That you must be alive and part of the kingdom to realize it or experience it, that once you are dead you are no longer part of the kingdom. Those who live will be part of the kingdom not only in it like some sort of lifeless object.

But do you actually perceive God^s presence in you?

2 Corinthians 13:5 and 6 asks it this way. 2 Corinthians 13:5 and 6.

Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? unless indeed you are disqualified. But I trust that you will know that we are not disqualified. 2 Corinthians 13:5 and 6 (NKJV)

The point is further clarified by Peter in 1 Peter 3:8 and 9. 1 Peter 3:8 and 9.

Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing. 1 Peter 3:8 and 9 (NKJV)

We are from all walks of life, We all have different backgrounds, different experiences and even different cultures but our goal and destiny is the same. We are to have the mind of Christ as He lives in us. If we overcome and make progress in this area we will some day be transformed once and for all into spirit beings. We will all be made of spirit but we will have each our unique features and appearance just as we are presently all made of flesh and blood but all have our unique characteristics.

So fear not and grow the Kingdom of God within you.

All things are possible with God.

May God guide you and bless you all.
