What To Do?
The world is fast becoming a horrifying place to live. We have wars and rumours of wars, mostly in the middle east, we have diseases like Ebola and AIDS, we have Islamification in Europe, the US, the Philippines and other places, we have growing crime like murders and rapes, we have escalation of nuclear arms and threats of the start of world war from various places, we have the deterioration of our morals and principles in our schools, governments and courts even here in North America. We see it and read about it more and more every day. The problems are escalating to such an extent that we are starting to feel helpless and many or most do not know what to do, where to turn or who to trust.
Here is a simple guide line. At first it may seem simplistic and too little too late but it is the single most effective way to make a real change for the better in all our lives and in all aspects of our lives.
1. Put God our Father first in your life, learn and accept the authority of Jesus Christ.
2. Gain in your knowledge of Them by reading the holy Bible.
3. Get proper help in understanding the Bible, the very word of God.
4. Obey the commandments of God and of Jesus, all Their directions as best you can.
5. Pray and fast, study, meditate and trust the Bible.
6. Devote yourself to the ways of God and gain His approval.
7. Trust that God will save you from your enemies.
8. Resist evil and do what is right and just and merciful and according to God.
9. Find the true Church of God, one that lives by His laws and order.
10. Do not forsake the gathering of the brethren, the like minded.
These suggested steps need not be executed in this specific order and there are many other steps that could be added but these are some of the fundamental necessities to appeasing God and for your salvation.
Other steps that will eventually be required but are already part of the above are;
1. Repentance ~ which is basically adopting the above mentioned steps.
2. Believing the gospel ~ also included in above.
3. Getting baptised ~ by total immersion by a true minister of God.
4. Receiving the holy spirit ~ by the laying on of hands of ministers of God.
5. Applying wisdom ~ being obedient to God and His way of life forever.
Calling good good and evil evil, white white and black black is the duty of every Christian. Get angry but do not act against God or sin. Work for God and He will work for you.
