I have a bad ratio of HDL to LDL, that is good fat to bad fat. My doctor told me to lose 15 pounds. I lost 20 in five months. Here is how I did it.
I made a number of changes, most I consider quite minor. I started eating more fruit and vegetables. I stopped eating pastries including cookies, this was the biggest change. I stopped eating bread made of refined flour and started eating bread made of whole grain flour. I stopped eating my mid~afternoon muffin. I cut my juice intake to one or two glasses a day from three. I increased my walking by about an hour a week. I kept this up for five months and lost twenty pounds.
Try it. Keep it up and you^ll keep it off. Save your money. No need to buy books, join clubs or adapt to difficult diets.
