Warning About False Religions
The world is full of false religious beliefs and practises and these things are increasingly being expressed by the media in these last days. Colossians 2:8 (NKJV) ^Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.^ Christ followed His heavenly Father, the true God, and His religion, the teachings of the Bible. His religion is known to God^s followers as The Way. It is the way of truth, as revealed by God our Father and His only begotten Son Jesus Christ through the pages of the Bible and through His ministers in His Church.
If you want peace you need to make peace with our heavenly Father not with some imaginary god. 1 Samuel 12:21 (GNB) Don’t go after false gods; they cannot help you or save you, for they are not real. The Bible has stood the test of time. Jesus and Paul endorsed the Jewish old testament. Peter endorsed Jesus and Paul. The church that Jesus founded established the new testament in writing. The basis for Christianity is well founded and well documented. To serious students of the Bible the Way is lit. The path to salvation is lit. There is no other lit Way. There is no other acceptable religion. There is no other religious authoritative book but the Bible. There is no other acceptable God but the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel (Jacob). There is no other door to the throne of God or to His Kingdom but Jesus Christ.
Satan is doing everything within his powers to prevent you from attaining God^s Kingdom. He wants us all dead. He wants us to believe anything but the truth so that God will reject us and sentence us to death. He wants the rest of the world to kill itself off. Satan^s wrath is coming and so is God^s.
I encourage you to communicate with your relatives, friends, co~workers, internet friends and world neighbours. Don^t just keep it to yourselves in small private circles. Stand up for the truth and the plan of God that Jesus sacrificed His life for. Exercise the religion that Jesus practised, the religion that is given in the old testament. Walk in the Way of the teachings and examples of Jesus of the righteousness of the true message of the new testament. Learn, grow, live. Produce works worthy of God^s calling. Help those who are better at it than you. Spread good works. Be active participants. Thwart Satan^s efforts.
Let God reign in your life. Learn the truth of the word of God daily. In this way God will protect us and evil will be defeated. Peace will be established. Your salvation will be established. The Kingdom of God will become a reality to you.
