Search For The Origin Of God
I am the Lord, and there is no other;
Besides Me there is no God. Isaiah 45:5
Did God search to see if anything or anyone else existed?
God would have searched before He created the heavens and the earth.
Where were you when I laid the earth^s foundation? Tell me, if you understand. Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy? Job 38:4 to 7
So the angels must have been created before the heavens and the earth since they shouted for joy at its establishment.
A description of heaven, the throne and some of the creatures there is given in Ezekiel chapter one.
Or thinkest thou that I cannot beseech my Father, and he shall even now send me more than twelve legions of angels? Matthew 26:53
This heavenly realm exists and it existed before the creation of our universe as we know it. This spiritual realm occupied spiritual space. Are there any limits to God^s spirit world?
God created the heavens and the earth. We understand this to be a finite creation with limits and boundaries. Some of which have been explained by scientists such as Albert Einstein who concluded that light bends and returns toward the universe eventually. It does not travel forever in a straight line. This is the present and past state of affairs.
And behold, you will conceive in your womb, and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus. 32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David; 33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever; and His kingdom will have no end. Luke 1:31 to 33
For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us;
And the government will rest on His shoulders;
And His name will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God,
Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
7 There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace,
On the throne of David and over his kingdom,
To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness
From then on and forevermore.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this. Isaiah 9:6 and 7
To the increase of His Kingdom there will be no end. This has implications of an infinite, ever growing environment or universe. This is what God has in store for us for the future.
So I wonder if God has searched the spirit world or has he created everything from nothing.
He stretcheth out the north over empty space, And hangeth the earth upon nothing. Job 26:7
Here nothing is synonymous with empty space.
All the nations are as nothing before him; they are accounted by him as less than nothing, and vanity. Isaiah 40:17
I have searched the Bible some to see if God searched space before he created or if He knew that nothing else existed but Himself. I cannot find mention of a time when only God existed. However in my article The Birth Of Wisdom some insight is given.
