Science and the Bible
God is the ultimate scientist; physicist, chemist, biologist, astronomer, computer scientist, etc. He created the universe, the world, life and all the laws that sustain them. He created science and scientists. The universe is His laboratory. An honest human scientist can only observe dimly and stand in awe.
It is utterly ridiculous to think that the Bible, God^s word to man, is opposed to science. Science being: knowledge about or study of the natural (created) world based on facts learned through experiments and observation (and not hypothetical theories and false assumptions). The real barriers between science and the Bible are bad science, bad theology and bad publicity, not necessarily in that order. Applications of knowledge is another matter altogether. Another matter is priorities.
