Jeremiah 3:12 to 14 (NIV84)
Go, proclaim this message toward the north: Return, faithless Israel, declares the LORD, I will frown on you no longer, for I am merciful, declares the LORD, I will not be angry forever. Only acknowledge your guilt, you have rebelled against the LORD your God, you have scattered your favors to foreign gods under every spreading tree, and have not obeyed me, declares the LORD. Hosea 5:15 (AMP)

Does this mean that God has rejected his Jewish people forever? Of course not! His purpose was to make his salvation available to the Gentiles, and then the Jews would be jealous and begin to want God^s salvation for themselves.

So speak to the Christians there as sternly as necessary to make them strong in the faith and to stop them from listening to Jewish folk tales (legends GNB, myths, AMP, fables NKJV) and the demands of men who have turned their backs on the truth.
