PYRAMID COMMENT
(11 August 2002)I bring the Great Pyramid of Giza to your attention because it is a powerful witness to the fact that man, created in God^s image, has only been on the earth for about 6000 years. The Great Pyramid was built about 4300 years ago around 2300BC more or less. The Great Pyramid is the largest man made structure ever built with the possible exception of the Great Wall of China. It is also the oldest man made structure known. The Great Wall of China was started around 200BC.
Why are there no older structures found when at that time people were capable of such a great feat. At the time of the Flood, near 2451BC, there were only eight people on the face of the earth. It took 300 years for the population to grow enough to have the social structure and the manpower to build the pyramid. No earlier structures exist because there was no one to build them and the flood destroyed whatever else may have been built earlier.
I do not believe that extraterrestrial beings helped in the design of the Great Pyramid but rather that God or Satan did. I found this website on the Great Pyramid of Giza interesting and informative. There are other websites on the Pyramid which give conflicting facts which you might explore. It is interesting to note that Israel lived in Egypt for 430 years (Now the length of time the Israelite people lived in Egypt was 430 years. Exodus 12:40) during which time pyramids were built. Is it possible that they built some of them?
