Prove Your Knowledge
Hosea 4:6 (amplified from NKJV and The Living Bible) God says:
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge of Me.
Because you have rejected knowledge from Me,
I also will reject you from being priest for Me;
Because you have forgotten My law,
I also will forget your children.
Hosea 8:12 (amplified from GNB, AMP and The Living Bible)
I write down countless teachings of My law for the people, but they reject them as strange and foreign and of no concern as if they applied to someone far away.
Matthew 15:8 and 9 (NKJV) Jesus said:
These people draw near to Me with their mouth,
And honor Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me.
And in vain they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.
