The Kingdom Of God What Is It Like?

I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden since the foundation of the world. Matthew 13:35 The New American Standard Bible, (La Habra, California: The Lockman Foundation) 1977. (Throughout)

The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field; 32 and this is smaller than all other seeds; but when it is full grown, it is larger than the garden plants, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches. Matthew 13:31 and 32

The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three pecks of meal, until it was all leavened. Matthew 13:33

The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has, and buys that field. Matthew 13:44

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking fine pearls, 46 and upon finding one pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had, and bought it. Matthew 13:45 and 46

47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet cast into the sea, and gathering fish of every kind; 48 and when it was filled, they drew it up on the beach; and they sat down, and gathered the good fish into containers, but the bad they threw away. 49 So it will be at the end of the age; the angels shall come forth, and take out the wicked from among the righteous, 50 and will cast them into the furnace of fire; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
51 Have you understood all these things? They said to Him, Yes. 52 And He said to them, Therefore every scribe who has become a disciple of the kingdom of heaven is like a head of a household, who brings forth out of his treasure things new and old. Matthew 13:47 to 52

20:1 For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. 2 And when he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius for the day, he sent them into his vineyard. 3 And he went out about the third hour and saw others standing idle in the market place; 4 and to those he said, ^You too go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.^ And so they went. 5 Again he went out about the sixth and the ninth hour, and did the same thing. 6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing; and he said to them, ^Why have you been standing here idle all day long?^ 7 They said to him, ^Because no one hired us.^ He said to them, ^You too go into the vineyard.^ 8 And when evening had come, the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, ^Call the laborers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last group to the first.^ 9 And when those hired about the eleventh hour came, each one received a denarius. 10 And when those hired first came, they thought that they would receive more; and they also received each one a denarius. 11 And when they received it, they grumbled at the landowner, 12 saying, ^These last men have worked only one hour, and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden and the scorching heat of the day.^ 13 But he answered and said to one of them, ^Friend, I am doing you no wrong; did you not agree with me for a denarius? 14 ^Take what is yours and go your way, but I wish to give to this last man the same as to you. 15 ^Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with what is my own? Or is your eye envious because I am generous?^ 16 Thus the last shall be first, and the first last. Matthew 20:1 to 16

The kingdom of God is like a man who casts seed upon the soil; 27 and goes to bed at night and gets up by day, and the seed sprouts up and grows how, he himself does not know. 28 The soil produces crops by itself; first the blade, then the head, then the mature grain in the head. 29 But when the crop permits, he immediately puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come. Mark 4:26 to 29

Everyone who drinks of this water shall thirst again; 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life. John4:13 and 14

No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him. 1 Corinthians 2:9

God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. John 4:24
