The gift of life, eternal life is the greatest gift.
All thanks goes to Jesus Christ who gave us the greatest sacrifice, the death of a God. This death was to show that Jesus had power over death. His resurrection assures us that we are welcome to accept His gift and that it is a genuine offer. His sacrifice was the penalty of death that had to be paid for the sins of mankind. Overcoming death is something that no man could have done on his own.
Jesus showed us the way to eternal life through His example, through His life. Among men He alone is the Messiah, the Savior, the Christ. He alone is the Lord of the Sabbath. If you have another Lord you are none of His. If you worship another ruler and do not keep the Sabbath holy as He commands, then you are among those who are being lost. Words like deceived, traitor, ignorant, infidel, rebellious, enemy, challenger are appropriate. The other commandments need to be obeyed also.
You shall worship the Lord your God and Him only shall you serve.
Matthew 4:10
The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the Devil.
1John 3:8
And on the seventh day God finished His work which He had done; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
Genesis 2:2,3
There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His. Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall through following the same example of disobedience.
Hebrews 4:9 to 11
Why do you call me ^Lord, Lord^ and do not what I tell you?
Luke 6:46
On the Sabbath they rested according to the commandments.
Luke 23:56
Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law.
Romans 3:31
And He said to them, ^Rightly did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, ^This people honors Me with their lips but their heart is far away from Me. Teaching for doctrines the precepts of men.^ Neglecting the commandment of God, you hold to
the tradition of men.^
Mark 7:6 to 8
