Duality in the Bible is not only found in prophecy and it doesn^t stop at duality.
The Bible often has more than one definition for things.
For the day of Atonement and all the Sabbaths the definition of day is from sunset to sunset. (Leviticus 23:32)
During the forty years that manna appeared in the desert the day was defined from sunrise to sunrise. That was the shelf life of the manna except on the sixth and seventh days of the week where the manna lasted two days. (Exodus 16:19 and 20)
Another example is the beginning of the year. It is described as beginning in the spring with the first day of the first month when the barley ripens. This is used as the base to number the months of the year and to establish the Holy days. (Exodus 12:2)
The first day of the seventh month is when you count the new year. It is the beginning of the fiscal year. They brought the tithe to God in the seventh month and started saving the next tithe at this time. (Exodus 23:16)
The idea of leaving an inheritance onto your children^s children cannot be done physically if you don^t have the material wealth but it can be done if you taught them the precious way of God and to develop Godly character. (Proverbs 13:22)
Then there are the dwelling places of God;
1) the tent of meeting (Exodus 26)
2) Temple built by Solomon, the first temple (1 Kings 6)
3) the second temple, at the time of Christ (Ezra 3, Matthew 4:5)
4) the members of the church are the temple of God (1 Corinthians 3:16 and 17)
5) Future temple, as described in the book of Ezekiel chapters 40 to 44
6) the temple seen in heaven, in the book of Revelation 11:19
7) the new Jerusalem, in the book of Revelation 21:2.
