No Wrong Deeds

^those who choose Jesuss way will be granted life, those who reject Him will be put to death^ I^ve heard this before. But I always wonder what happens if a person is of different religion, be it buddhist, muslim or whatever? Will they be put to ^death^ just because they believe in different ideology? What if one is not following Jesus^ way but following his or her sound principle and not doing any wrong deed?

It sounds like a dictator threatening his fellow citizen to do it my way or you^ll be annihilated.

My understanding is that those who are not given a fair chance to learn about Jesus Christ in this life, will be given a fair chance in the resurrection. That would include people who lived behind the Iron curtain, in communist China, who were surrounded throughout their lives by other religions such as Buddhism and Islam perhaps even false Christianity, etc. Those who are given a fair chance to learn now will be judged according to what they have accepted and decided. Now there is a scripture that says if they are not against us then they are for us, Mark 9:40. This leads me to think that there are some who do not choose Jesus but neither do they reject Him. I would say that these people stand a chance. There are scriptures that state that Jesus is the way and that there is no other way, John 14:6, 6:44. That means that all other religions are futile. They are pagan, not from God. It also implies that it is Jesuss way that leads to life not those who in their own minds do no wrong deeds.

As far as God being a dictator is concerned I would say that He is an absolute ruler who demands respect and fear. He has all but eliminated mankind from the planet once before at the time of the flood. Only eight people survived. He wants righteousness. Only Noah was found to be righteous on earth at that time, Genesis 6:9, 7:1. His family was spared with him. God stated at that time that He was sorry that He had created man, Genesis 6:6. Mankind was saved through Noah.
