Corruption

Corruption is ever more prevalent in all aspects of life even in presenting the Word of God the Bible. Rather than to present the truth of God by eliminating errors with every new revision even the most respected publishers prefer to continue to misrepresent it.

Let me give you an example. Matthew 28:1, in the most popular and most respected versions of the Bible, is mistranslated. By mistranslating this verse much truth is hidden and a big deception is propagated which leads to much lying and spreading of lies.

The Interlinear Bible interprets the beginning of this verse as,

After the sabbaths, at the dawning into the first of the sabbaths ...

This translation reveals that there were two sabbaths that week, the week of the death of Jesus, a high day sabbath and the regular weekly sabbath. The second mention of sabbaths here refers to the counting of seven sabbaths or weeks to Pentecost. The first day of the week, immediately following the weekly sabbath, what we call Sunday, was the beginning of counting, day one of fifty or the first day of the first week.

This shows without a doubt and without confusion that the Jews observed the High Holy days and that they were at this time right smack into a Holy season, namely the Feast of Unleavened Bread. This fact, along with others, helps us to establish the year of the death of Christ as 31 AD when the Passover was on what we call a Wednesday, the day Jesus was killed, the first day of Unleavened Bread was on a Thursday and Jesus was three days and three nights, 72 hours, in the heart of the earth, dead.

The mistranslation of Matthew 28:1 helps to propagate the ever pervasive lie that Jesus was resurrected on Sunday even though the tomb was repeatedly described as not containing Jesus on Sunday morning, see Matthew 28:6, Mark 16:6, Luke 24:3 and John 20:3. Jesus had already risen at the end of the weekly sabbath.

The masses prefer to consider Jesus a liar in Matthew 12:39 and 40, when He stated that He would be three 24 hour periods in the heart of the earth, than to study a little and prove Him true and honest and our unquestionable sinless saviour. Those who believe Jesus will be saved not those who perpetuate lies.

Galatians 6:7 (NKJV)
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

Matthew 5:18 (GNB)
Remember that as long as heaven and earth last, not the least point nor the smallest detail of the Law will be done away with, not until the end of all things.

I, for one, am all for the correction of the Bible, the spreading of truth and against corruption.
