Brainwashing And Baptism

What are your prime, unquestionable, beliefs; the theory of evolution, agnosticism, Catholicism, Islam, Buddhism, Voodooism, one world government or religion? There are many various beliefs in the world, they cannot all be right so some are blatantly false and evil. Are not most of these in conflict with each other? Many will never coexist in peace or harmony so some, or all, are destructive. Where did all these ideas come from? Are not most of them derived from other people sometimes in the very distant past? Can you truly justify any of these as genuine or worthy of your attention, efforts and respect?

What is your best reason for living; procreation, football, conquest, ambition, achieving temporary goals of stature, striving for wealth? Where did all these ideas come from? Are not most of them derived from other people sometimes in the distant past? Can you truly justify any of these as genuine or worthy of your attention, efforts and devotion?

What about desires to attain eternal life? What about an all mighty God and trying to please Him? Should you give these some consideration?

1 Corinthians 15:19 (NKJV)
If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.

There is a gift from God that is mankind's greatest insight into God, His character, His creation, His interventions in His creation, His dealings with men, His family, His prescribed even commanded way of life, His plans, and His ultimate plan of salvation for man through His only begotten Son Jesus. All this and more is found in His Bible which is available at low cost almost anywhere in the world, today more than ever thanks to the internet. This Biblical insight is more valuable than that gotten from the world we live on.

Let me bring two things to your attention that are described in this Bible.

The first is that we should obey and do God's commandments.

The first passage that I will show you says that people who obey and do God's commandments are those who know God and who have a good understanding of Him and who love Him.

Psalm 111:10 (NKJV)
The fear (that is the respect, honor, love, worship, obedience JG) of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever.

What this is basically saying is that the Lord of the Bible is the one that is to be feared, obeyed and praised, no one else and no other make believe god.

Here is a test for true spiritual leaders:

1 John 5:2 (NKJV)
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.

In other words spiritual leaders are to show their love for the children of God by obeying God and doing His commandments. Again this is talking strictly of the God of the Bible, no other manmade, figment of the imagination god.

This is the example that they should show for all to follow just as Jesus showed the example.

John 15:10 (NKJV)
If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.

And true and faithful disciples and members of God's true church are not hypocrites.

1 John 2:4 (NKJV)
He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

It is truly evil that so many say things like the law is done away with and the commandments are done away with and that they replace God's laws with some poorly conceived adulterated concept of grace. It makes me think that it is like putting shaving cream on lime pie and only eating the shaving cream.

The second is that Jesus is the only Lord of salvation.

Jesus, who was not a liar, otherwise we are all lost and without hope, said that He would be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. That is a full period of (12 + 12) + (12 + 12) + (12 + 12) or 3 x (12 + 12 hours) = 72 hours. And this He exclaimed was the only sign that He is the Messiah that He would give His evil and adulterous generation.

Matthew 12:39–41 (NKJV)
But He answered and said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and indeed a greater than Jonah is here.

Is this generation any different?

Furthermore, when it comes to other religions, bear this in mind:

John 14:6 (NKJV)
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

In the history of the world has anyone ever made such a statement? Before Jesus the concept was unfathomable. At least no one else stands out or has stood the test of time. No one else was believable.

Jesus truly is the Lord of salvation of mankind.

John 11:25 (NKJV)
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.

Jesus is the only one who has been resurrected onto eternal life to date and He hold the key to each and every person who will ever be given eternal life. There is no other real hope. This is reality.

Jesus is not to be mistaken for a flippant, petty liar who can't add or count to three. He is not to be misrepresented by evil doers. Remember the first of God's ten commandments at least:

Exodus 20:3 (NKJV)
You shall have no other gods before Me.

There is no other savior, Jesus Christ is it. There is no other religion, Christianity is it. There is no other church, the church of God is it. Don't mistake fantasy for reality. Don't accept brainwashing and reject enlightenment.

If you cannot accept these two fundamental and simple teachings from the Bible, obeying God and accepting the true Jesus, then you are among the brainwashed and are headed for destruction, you are being lost. My advice to you is to seek good, honest and just ministers of truth who respect the Word of God for guidance and instruction.

Stand up for yourself, stand up for your rights, respect your God given, God created being and intelligence and free moral agency. It is time for you to follow Jesus' example and to overcome the world as He did.

1 John 5:4 (NKJV)
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world, our faith.

This is not speaking of blind faith or faith in fables and fallacies or in faith of imposters and substitutes, this is talking about faith in the one and only God our Father and of His one and only begotten Son Jesus Christ who is without sin. I'll give you another big clue, He is also Lord of the Sabbath, the Sabbath not Sunday.

John 16:33 (NKJV)
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Revelation 21:7 (NKJV)
He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.

Revelation 3:21 (NKJV)
To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

One final consideration:

You might be ready for baptism and a cleansing or purging of past sins of false worship and gullibility, of starting with a clean slate, a new beginning.

2 Corinthians 7:1 (NKJV)
Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

1 John 1:8–10 (NKJV)
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

Acts 22:16 (NKJV)
And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.’

The Jews need a cleansing by baptism because they trusted in sacrifices rather than justice and mercy and they rejected Christ the prophesied one of Isaiah 53 among other things.

Former Catholics and Protestants, etc., yes and born again christians, need a cleansing by baptism because they believed in a false christ and in many pagan traditions and they used Christ's name in vain and on and on and on.

Many others need a cleansing by baptism because they worshiped other false gods and placed many things in higher importance than God sometimes merely their egos to mention but a few things.

Those born and brought up in the one true church need to be cleansed and baptised because of realizing their human sinful nature and of coming of age of commitment similar to getting a driver's license or a marriage license in order to receive greater blessings through the receiving of the holy spirit by the ensuing laying on of hands and to follow Christ's example of having been baptised Himself. Baptism is an outward display or ceremony that establishes your commitment and dedication to God, the acceptance of His Son as your personal Savior and as King of the coming Kingdom of God and as a welcome into the promised family of God among other reasons.

Brainwashing is probably the single most effective tool in Satan's use. Many traditions and false beliefs have been handed down from spiritual leaders to parents to children and to children's children for thousands of years. The result is that religions, nations and cultures are thoroughly brainwashed. The whole world is deceived. Religion is primarily an adulterated hoax, a calamity of errors, an abject impoverished pack of lies where adherents and followers are doomed, destined for death because they harbour evil and adulterous false beliefs and pagan practises.

There is whitewashing, like brainwashing, that masks pollution and there is cleansing, like baptism, that purges and rejuvenates giving one a fresh new start with Jesus and our Father. It is time to wake up and make an important everlasting commitment.
