Are You Dreaming?

The economy, banks, brokerages and governments, run predominantly on dreams.
Dreams drive business men and investors.
Try to get a bank loan without a dream.
Elections are won by appealing to the dreams of the electorate.
Dreams often lead people to live beyond their means.
A dream is often a socially acceptable substitute term for greed and covetousness.

Psalm 119:36
Give me the desire to obey Your laws rather than to covet.

Hebrews 13:5 (GNB)
Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, ^I will never leave you; I will never abandon you.^

Romans 1:28 (GNB)
Because those people refuse to keep in mind the true knowledge about God, he has given them over to corrupted minds, so that they do the things that they should not do. (The principle applies here.)

1 John 1:8 (NKJV)
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Colossians 3:17 (GNB)
Everything you do or say, then, should be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, as you give thanks through him to God the Father.

Ephesians 5:20 (GNB)
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, always give thanks for everything to God the Father.

Galatians 1:11 (RSV)
For I would have you know, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not man"s gospel.
