At five I wondered
Why how are all these things
Trees grass sky ice leather
Where is God
Why can^t I see Him
I needed to know
At six I wondered
Why is the Bible a holy book
Why does everyone ignore it
Why don^t people keep the Sabbath holy
Why is religion so fearfully secretive
I needed to know
In youth I thought I^d never know
I thought it best to go with the flow
Life was becoming a grind
I took the easiest way I could find
My wants and needs hanging by a string
Hap and circumstance always determining
At twenty five I started to strive
I read The Book and it became Holy
I found help to reveal the mystery
Had much to do with why I^m alive
And now I ponder and meditate
The wonders that God and Jesus create.
