THE HEART

The way to a man^s heart is through his stomach, I^ve heard it said.
It^s myth. I know! The way to a man^s stomach is through his heart.
They feed him all sorts of sweetened adulterous things
and laugh when he says they^re delicious
He^s brought up to mind his manners and say nothing but nice things
while they strut and giggle in their evil deeds.
They may have him for a while but more often than not
marriage ends in divorce and not death.

The way to a man^s heart is through his stomach, it is said.
Now a wise man will be more careful in who he trusts with his food.
He ll test intentions, serious natures, deceptions and mockery.
He ll overlook cuteness, beauty and innocent play-acting.
He ll search for truth, honesty, kindness and gentleness,
perseverance, love, peace and joy.
And when she has won his favor he will let her cook for him
for the way to a man^s stomach is through his heart.

It^s hard to tell in todays society because it is run by the immoral.
The standards that are set wouldn^t keep a family together let a lone a nation.
The system is on the verge of collapse if we do not change our ways.
Who doesn^t appreciate pure orange juice a perfect car or a decent meal?
We must develop a pure attitude and be perfect in our ways.
Have we no self respect? In truth and not in jest?
Are we not created in God^s own image?
Should we not bestow due honor on our worthy neighbors?
Is this not what we expect?
