Expected Wrath
Evil in the world is increasingly rising to the surface
We are being pushed and pulled and provoked to malice
Pressure is growing as we approach the end of the human race
Murder, hatred, hypocrisy and tyranny we must not embrace
The wrath of the spirit realm overwhelms with threats to impale
We must not despair, goodness and reason must prevail
Law, order, precaution, protection and peace to our last exhale
To the justice, mercy and righteousness of Jesus all hail
Is there hope left for blinded mankind
That rejects God and leaves His Bible behind
Like onto the prophets of old and Jesus and His kind
The wrath of the world is trying desperately to unwind
Can people be awakened from their deep sleep?
Are they resolved to slumber dismissing every warning beep?
Have their wells of knowledge of good and evil gone dry?
Are they dead set in their ways and won^t give God a try?
Is their soil of understanding love, joy, peace now infertile?
Are they ready to face Jesus for their final trial?
