Called By God
God revealed His Sabbath to me
when I was 6
it was distressing
my world rejected it
rejected God^s authority
rejected the Holy Book
perplexed and afraid
stunned, angry and exceedingly sad
I was alone
alarmed awakened alerted
called without awareness
thought it best to keep it secret
me against the world
In youth I tried to read the Bible
so many untold stories
so many misrepresented facts
shocking
at 12 I quit the Catholic church
(the Roman church)
My early life was spent spiralling downward
At 25 I decided to read the whole Bible
read it several times
found God^s church at 30 in 84
all was not right
got put out at 31
the WCG collapsed in 96
United Church of God emerged
I united with them in 2002
I^m still standing
still working out my own salvation
I believe I was called by God
