Who to thank for your understanding
When you first began speaking
Where did your first thoughts come from
From whence did they come
Why are you strong wealthy or smart
What first gave you your start
Should you take it all for granted
Or believe in those disenchanted
Proud and loud but mere babblers
Should you not know the answers
Would you remain bewildered
Or get yourself delivered
Oh what simple riddles
The dull mind baffles
Our Creator is great beyond imagination
Far beyond scientific explanation
Unfortunately for most unbelievable
Detestable deniable even laughable
To those with a humble heart
Who see God’s works of art
Words can bring tears to their eyes
And make them grateful and wise.
